Day 2

Another great day on the island!

This morning we toured around all the little art galleries and tiny shops in town. Stacey bought a hat and mittens from the wool shop...
And then we took a drive out to a little seaside town and walked around in the sun. Stacey even got into the ocean! Brrr!
It was so windy, but the sky was blue so we couldn't really complain!Gran and Gramps took a romantic picture by the lobster crates....
Ma and Ant cuddled on a double seated adirondack!
Stacey and Gran had their first lighthouse picture of the trip!
And I received my first dandelion bouquet of the season...definitely a highlight!
Oh, and Zach bought a flask...then filled it and brought it on our mini trip. Gramps might have had a few swigs...

Then in the evening we headed over to the school for a BBQ where we got to meet everyone else's family...slightly strange to see everyone with their people, but fun too! Here are some of my favorites!
The fam had fun entertaining themselves by catapulting pieces of paper all over the room....you can dress them up, but you can't take them out!Although this picture might make it look like Zach wasn't having fun...I think he was! It made me laugh seeing this when I uploaded my pictures on to my computer this evening!
We had a little tour of the kitchens...Then we walked home in along the boardwalk...it was gorgeous! Until Zach kicked Ma's nose and made it bleed...don't even ask how that happened. But there was blood!They made up though...Tomorrow is the big day!! I'm sure there will be lots of pictures to share!
